Complaints

We want the County Lottery to be fair and well run. If something has gone wrong, please tell us.

  1. Tell us

Email [email protected] with the subject “Complaint”, or write to the County Lottery Promoter at Old Third, Tullibardine, Auchterarder, Perthshire, PH3 1NJ. Include your name, ticket numbers and what happened.

  2. We acknowledge it

We confirm we have received your complaint within 5 working days.

  3. We investigate and reply

A trustee who was not involved investigates and sends you a full written reply within 28 days. If we need longer, we will explain why.

  4. If you are still unhappy

You can ask for a review by the Chair of the County Executive Committee. If the complaint is about how the lottery is run, you can also contact Perth & Kinross Council, which registers our lottery. If it is about how the charity is run, you can contact OSCR (opens in a new tab).

We keep a record of every complaint and use it to improve. Full details are in section 13 of the Lottery Rules.

Play responsibly

You must be 18 or over to play the Girlguiding Tay and Ochils County Lottery. Lottery play should be fun and never a way to make money. Only spend what you can afford. If gambling is causing you or someone you know harm, free and confidential help is available.

Tickets cannot be sold to anyone under 18. We may ask for proof of age before paying a prize.

The Girlguiding Tay and Ochils County Lottery is a small society lottery under Schedule 11 of the Gambling Act 2005, promoted on behalf of Girlguiding Tay and Ochils (Scottish charity SC002886) and registered with Perth & Kinross Council, the licensing authority for the area where the society’s principal office is located.
