Play the lottery

This statement was prepared on 13 October 2026.

Our commitment

Girlguiding Tay and Ochils aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. You should be able to:

  • zoom up to 400% without text spilling off the screen;
  • navigate the whole site using just a keyboard, with a visible focus outline;
  • skip straight to the main content using the “Skip to main content” link;
  • use the site with a screen reader, including NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver;
  • use the site with reduced motion settings, which we respect.

How we built it

The site uses plain, semantic HTML and CSS with no JavaScript, so it works in older browsers and with assistive technology. Every form field has a label, colour contrast meets at least 4.5:1 for normal text, touch targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels, and there are no images that need describing.

Known limitations

  • Payment pages are provided by Stripe and are outside our direct control. Stripe publishes its own accessibility commitments.
  • Some links go to other organisations’ websites, which may not meet the same standard.

Feedback and contact

If you have difficulty using any part of this website, or need information in a different format such as large print or plain text, email [email protected] or write to us at Old Third, Tullibardine, Auchterarder, Perthshire, PH3 1NJ. We will reply within 5 working days.

Enforcement

If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) (opens in a new tab).

Play responsibly

You must be 18 or over to play the Girlguiding Tay and Ochils County Lottery. Lottery play should be fun and never a way to make money. Only spend what you can afford. If gambling is causing you or someone you know harm, free and confidential help is available.

Tickets cannot be sold to anyone under 18. We may ask for proof of age before paying a prize.

The Girlguiding Tay and Ochils County Lottery is a small society lottery under Schedule 11 of the Gambling Act 2005, promoted on behalf of Girlguiding Tay and Ochils (Scottish charity SC002886) and registered with Perth & Kinross Council, the licensing authority for the area where the society’s principal office is located.
